Nurikabe is a Nikoli puzzle genre.
- Shade some cells in the grid.
- All shaded cells must be connected.
- No 2×2 square can be fully shaded.
- Clued cells cannot be shaded. Each connected group of unshaded cells must have exactly one clued cell in it, which represents the number of cells in the “island”.
